Artsy Things I Made
Northeastern University Graduation Blanket
One of my proudest crochet projects is a blanket featuring the Northeastern Husky. It took over 100 hours and three years to complete, with countless skeins of yarn and plenty of determination woven into each stitch. Creating it was both a test of patience and a celebration of my time at Northeastern, a piece that now keeps me warm and reminds me that even the most ambitious projects are just one stitch at a time. It’s a unique way to carry a bit of Husky pride into all my future adventures.
General Crochet
One of my favorite crochet projects is a pink and blue winter scarf, made to stand up to Boston’s icy winds and snowy streets. It’s soft, warm, and adds a bright pop of color to even the grayest winter days—a perfect companion for surviving New England winters in style.
I also crocheted a colorful T. rex, a project that reflects both my creativity and attention to detail. With vibrant colors and carefully crafted features, he’s a unique piece that’s both visually striking and surprisingly comforting to have around.
One of my more experimental crochet projects was a single colorful sock. While the vibrant stitching made it visually interesting, it turned out to be incredibly uncomfortable to wear. Needless to say, I decided one sock was quite enough and never made its pair.
